Meltham 'Tough' 10k certainly lived up to it's name today when 22 of our snails completed the run in less than ideal conditions. Wind, rain and a lot of hills tried to hold the runners back, but not even the sight of the mountain rescue team on the start line scared the snails off.

Meltham was the first 10k of the 2018 club championships so there was a lot of friendly rivalry to get the points, and if that wasn't enough it was the first opportunity to get their name next to one of our 'Club Record' spots.

The winners for each of the divisions were:

Division 1 - Jonathan Moon
Division 2 - Rob Hick
Division 3 - Sandra Pinder and Nicky Brown
Division 4 - Brian Crowther
Division 5 - Emma Greaves
