Race recap - Liversedge half marathon

The third championship race of the year was a 'very' undulating half marathon starting in Roberttown in West Yorkshire. 18 snails took part in the race with many taking on their very first half marathon.

The route itself was tough but and had it's fair amount of elevation, however us snails are never afraid of hills and everyone completed the race. Sean 'Buster' Suttle took the first snail home title whilst Sandra Pinder was the first female snail.

More snails turned up to support and there was a great atmosphere on the race that really helped everyone get to the finish line. Thank you to everyone who came, it really makes gives us the boost we need.

Thank you to all the marshalls and organisers at Roberttown Road Runners who set up the race.
